Looking at shows set in Texas, I realized something. Texans in the main cast are underrepresented. Look at Friday Night Lights for example. When looking at the main cast of this Texas-centric series, I found out that only ONE actor (Jesse Plemons) has ties to Texas.
So I make this one promise: Close Up will ONLY cast actors and actresses from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana unless the character being played comes from somewhere outside those four states. This show is set in Texas, and it will represent Texas.
